We’re very disappointed by the way we’re received in the hotel. Barely noticed by the reception, a bad room location, not receiving a guest card, and the breakfast table location was a disaster. ||The hotels almost acts annoyed when you …
One of the best restaurants in Tirol. The food is amazing, really generous and well put together dishes. Ingredients are exceptional and very tasty.
A diamond hotel set in a beautiful backdrop of mountains where you can enjoy a delightful menu and a welcoming greeting set for royalty. A perfect spa and fitness area to take away the stress of the day. I nice quaint village with a perfect area for your child to learn skiing or sledging . Highly recommended for familes or a romantic getaway
Dragged along by my husband to an MC event he was working for, this was a very comfortable hotel to stay in as the tag-along with our two small dogs.
Why I did not give full score for the room? I would have liked to give a 4.9 (almost full score) for a bit of a strange reason: they may tolerate dogs here, but the room has no fridge, so the tinned food we brought for them could not be kept cool - and of course the hotel does not really cater to dogs, they only tolerate them. There's a difference. I have no problem with not having a mini-bar, but it does present the drawback of not being able to cool anything. Thus also no kettle (which of course saves the cleaning staff a little work, I get it) for tea or coffee-making in the room.
What the room does have: hair dryer! Yes, it's a deal when having long hair. And the complementary quilted bag with towels and luscious bathrobes were a nice touch. Our room had a lovely view of the very tempting pool which I, sadly, did not make use of as I had no clue it was there (silly me for not doing any research). It also had a generously large flat-screen TV (without internet access, so no Netflix for us).
We also had great views of snow-capped mountains in the distance, idyllic village with pretty church for good measure included. Closer were an ample supply of power lines, a transformer station, the gondola station and its car-park, the main road along which you find several purpose-built boxes housing enticing businesses such as car dealerships, small supermarkets, car-wash, petrol and charging stations, and let's not forget the ever-present McDonald's.
The hotel is, of course, on the busy main street, like the entire village since the narrow valley dictates the layout - and that makes it a little noisy.
The style and supposed image of the hotel is sort of hunting-lodge (if you're not into taxidermy, this place is not for you!) meets spa meets ski-resort meets fine-dining/all-you-can-eat buffet. A little confused, but in a nice way. Dogs are welcome, but not in carpeted areas or spa areas (fair enough). Or on the finely mowed lawns as serviced by the lawn robot I called Marvin in the silence of my mind. The poor thing struck me as depressed and bored with its job.
To sum up: nice, lovely staff, comfy room, good food, dogs tolerated, hair-dryer and bathrobes supplied, enough parking for the guests, biker-friendly.
a 4 star hotel that should be 5* for the facilities, food and service. Fantastic
Me and my wife spent a few days in this wonderful hotel.
Very nice staff and the food was excellent.
The swimming pool is a great place to relax and look at the sights.
We where however a little bit disappointed with the room with two
extra beds which we didn't need.
I think a small table and two comfortable chairs would be far better and add the extra beds if required.
We would like to come back but only if the room layout was different.
Regards
B Phelan
We didn't stay at the hotel but just came to the restaurant as this was about the only place open on the 1st of january. During our one week stay in austria we went back 3 times more. Food is great. Service very good and in tiroler fashion. And what we have seen of the hotel it is very well maintained and of high quality. Big parking and right in front of the Venet cable car station. Next time when we want to ski at Venet we try to book this place!
We where here twice now in winter and summer and I hope we will have a lot more nice holidays in the future.
First time we went here was winter 2021/2022 during the Christmas holiday, we booked with my family, grandparents, children and grandchildren. The hotel is situated right next to the gondel of the very small but super nice skiing area Venet. The breakfast and dinner where great, big tables where assembled to accommodate the whole family and the food was amazing.
The spa is absolutely stunning, there is a pool inside, a large heated pool outside, a lot of sauna's and everything is super luxurious and relaxed.
Last July we went here with our 4 kids and had an equally perfect holiday-experience, the staff is extremely friendly, also to our kids, there is a nice dining area outside with view of the mountains and the pool was a nice cooling area during the heatwave. We went up the mountain again twice, really beautiful hikingtrails that are easy to do with kids from age 4-5 years old, you can rent small tricycle to go down the rodelpath and there are several cottages on the mountain to have a drink or lunch, stunning nature!
This hotel has an extremely good value for money, you definitely get the 5 star family experience for a price that is much lower than you would expect.
